From REPRESENTATIVE MEN AND OLD FAMILIES OF RHODE ISLAND - by the Newport Public Library. Joseph Crandall was born about 1684 in Westerly R.I. where he lived and died. He married Ann Langworthy, daughter of Samuel and Rachel Langworthy and they were the parents on a number of children among whom were John, Enoch, James, William and Joshua. CONN.
